She's all grown up and engaged to be married. Who feels OLD??? Yep, me. So then I visited her page and looked at all her friends (like 400 something), and I found LOTS of my old students. It was so weird to see them all grown up, kissing boys, dressing...not like 10 year olds, etc. I still picture them as 4th graders, ya know??
Anyway, they are doing great, and I'm seriously enjoying catching back up with them...because after all, I spent 180 days of their formative years with them, and I'm pretty sure I'm the reason they're doing so well....KIDDING! But honestly, where does the time go??
Shouldn't everyone stay their innocent little selves forever? Ah well...
Carpe Diem and all that.

It is amazing how the young children we knew grow up so fast, it is shocking that they can be full fledged adults. We aren't any older so how can they possibly have grown that much?
Good thing you were a great teacher!
Isn't it? I just posted on how I found a childhood best friend I hadn't seen in years. It's definitely addicting, but definitely wonderful.
I was warned numerous times about how addicting Facebook is when I first signed up. I was like, "Yeah, whatever. I don't really have an addictive personality." But I have to say, even for me, it is certainly addictive. But it's all justifiable because it's relationships! That's the way I look at it. :) How fun to see your students...and weird.
I have several former teachers that I've added and they all say that it's super weird to see me grown up with kids. (But they're pretty old!!) It's crazy to know that the first year of kids you taught is already grown up like that!!! You're so young!
